Are Workplace Drug Tests Still Relevant in the Age of Legal Pot?
Testing employees for marijuana use was once a typical practice among employers, but it has grown less and less commonplace over the last several years. This decline makes sense in light of the current legal landscape in the US: 10 states have legalized recreational marijuana, and 33 have legalized medical marijuana.
Of course, companies reserve the right to test employees for marijuana use, and many still do.
